MemberDon’t know about that one, but having Ornstein fall to third in the 400 IM most likely knocks her out of contention for the MVP race

I agree…even if she wins the 200 breast I still think Sasser will have the edge because she’s also likely to win 100/200 back and set at least one record and has been a real difference maker for Amherst.
Of course we still need to see how the 100 fly and 200 free playout…their are few contenders in those races.

MemberTracy Menzel wins the 100 breast for Kenyon. She broke the Kenyon record for the 100 breast. As a sophmore we’ll get to see her improve over the next two years.

MemberCongrats to Tracey! Wasn’t she a relay only swimmer last year? If so, she has made some great strides!

MemberNo she qualified in the 100 and 200 breast…but has obviously improved a lot. Funny how that happens at Kenyon, isn’t it?

Member54.72 for Sasser…that is the swim of the meet so far and she’s got to be in the lead for swimmer of the meet.

I had the honor of coaching Tracy when she was in high school. She swam for our club team in Crawfordsville. She was originally recruited for the 50 & 100 Freestyle (24.3 /52.3) and breaststroke was probably her 5th best event.
Congrats on the National title!

MemberOf note on Day Two is that two of Kenyon’s remaining three records in the DIII record book were taken down by Lesher and Amherst. Here’s the breakdown:
Denison- 5
Amherst- 3
Carleton- 2
Williams- 2
Calvin- 1
Kenyon- 1
Nazareth- 1
Middlebury- 1
Washington & Jefferson- 1
Whitworth- 1Definitely a much more level playing field now. Great to see!
