  Did anyone see that Wabash College has posted an opening for a new head coach.

  i believe he will announced as the new head coach at Bates… at least the rumor I’ve heard

  Wow, that would be big. Is he from the upper northeast? Seems like a step down not only in current programs, but also tradition.

  Oh, it should also be mentioned that whoever gets the job will be inheriting an incoming 21.0*/46-something guy. Not a bad way to start.

  He went to Gettysburg and I believe his wife is from the northeast. The catch with Wabash is that while it has a great tradition, being an all male school, thing operate a little differently. Pete has done an incredible job at turning around the commitment level of the program (as it used to be that fraternity life dictated everything). It’ll be sad to see him go as he has been a positive influence on the program.

  Nope… Not sure I:
  
  A) have the pedigree they will be looking for (in fact pretty sure I don’t)
  B) want to go back to C’ville
  C) could deal with the Wabash lifestyle (different mentality)
