Term: Renewable twelve month appointment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Include assisting the Head Men’s/Women’s Swimming Coach/Director of Aquatics in coaching, recruiting and management of aquatics facility; coaching the Master’s Swim Program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Include significant collegiate swimming and/or coaching experience; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, CPR-PR, AED & LGI (all preferred).
SALARY AND RANK: Entry level but commensurate with demonstrated skill and ability.
STARTING DATE: IMMEDIATELY
THE UNIVERSITY: A member of the University Athletic Association and the NCAA (Division III), the University of Chicago sponsors 19 varsity sports for an undergraduate population of 4500 students in a unique commitment to the highest academic standards and extensive conference travel and competition. The University has recently completed the construction of a new Cesar Pelli–designed, $51 million athletics center that includes a 50 meter x 25 yard pool, offering a unique opportunity in coaching and aquatics management.
