  Santi, Ruben and Rick Kinsey have all been admitted
  
  They all have said they if they get off the waiting list they are in….but that is what pepper said….let’s see what happens!

  I found a meet where Santi was entered at 2:12.15 in the 200 IM. That is really fast, 2 seconds ahead of the LCM B cut. For comparison, the junior cut is a 2:12.low and 1:53.79
  
  At that meet he was also entered at a 4:42 in the 400 IM. That is 4:04 or so.
  
  You would assume that entry times were actually recorded times, and if so this guy really is a stud. He added a lot of time from his entry times (went 2:15 and 4:48) but so did everyone else at the meet. I am guessing it was not a major meet for him.

  According to Barret, he is fine taking an english class here. He said Steve is trying to get him a FacMan job so he can work on campus and take the class. Fonzy will also be there working with FacMan, which would help Santi a lot.

  am i forgetting anyone? if not thats a pretty solid class. Our 800 free relay should be a hell of alot faster, especially after getting rid of my 1:49/DQ split… hahaha

  Kinsey isn’t quite as fast as listed, more like 4:59 1:48 (which is still pretty good).

  I know this is just an excuse, but Kinsey did have strep throat a few days before state meet… If you look at all his swims, he just fell off completely.

  Kathy told me Ruben also goes a 47 free.
  If stone goes to hope, he’ll see the wrath of kathy ‘k-mills’ oves milliken. and the whole k swim team for that matter.

  From what i remember, she may be getting him confused with the other mexican american who applied (but got denied). This 1 is a flyer.

  I looked it up. The meet he went a 54.1 he split 49.9 on a relay. Not a 47.

  I always use google. I put the persons name in and type what everstroke they do:
  
  “santiago Morales mariposa” will do the trick, you will need to know a little spanish to navigate around the site.

  So, steve talked to santi’s admissions director, and said that everything is ok. He will have to take an esl class over the summer at western or oakland. But chances are he is coming.

  I’m not smiling until I see Santi on the deposit list….I’ve definitely learned my lesson after this past year…but things look good right now
