Anyone swimming this summer?
Looks like Ryan Booms had a pretty nice sectional meet in Bloomington last weekend. 1:10.0 and 2:33.0 in the breast are very impressive summer times.
Rumored to be freshman at Olivet, Nick Stone, also swam at Sectionals.
56.8 and 2:03.3 in the freestyles
and 1:05.6 and 2:22.0 in the backstrokes.
It appears he will be in pretty good shape when he steps foot on campus later on this month.Who else is swimming this summer?

MemberI know the Hope breastroker (Lane2AllStar) swam at secitionals. I only found him in 1 event however, and he was a 1:10 in the 100 breast. Depending on their turns, he and Booms could have a great race!

Member1:10 2:33 are pretty good. Not great, but he has defintely trained some. Why did Lane2 Allstar say that Kzoo got a 20.8 in the 50 on a different thread? Any idea who he is talking about?

Oops, thought that was common knowledge. I’ve spoken to him off of this board and he is a very nice kid, not at all what i would have guessed from his posts… if that means anything.
Is that all the MIAA swimmers that swam this summer? How sad… what about our young, upcoming freshmen?

Are you talking about the stud that is rumored in the ‘Recruits’ forum under the ‘Top Recruits’ thread? If so, that was not Lane2allstar it was swimkid4421 or something like that. Unless they are the same person?
Or did Lane2 make that claim elsewhere and I missed it?

Memberwhat if it’s true?
those times listed by swimkid are damn fast and that’d just throw the medleys and the whole miaa into turmoil
this guy looks more prolific than blohm when he transfered over and if this is true and you add him and soriano together that mades for a decent class for K
medley relay:
50.5 new guy
56.0 soriano
52.0 dekker
46.5 hennigar3:25

MemberWow, that might be the best front half in the country. The scary thing is, they would be in the same class. It’s not like you would just pair them together for a year or two, but it would be something to build around for the next four years. Scary. Great for the league too!

How would the 200 MR look?
23.5? random dude
24.5 the fonz
23.0 froshie or groth or jim
21.0 hennigar or ben1:32 – not bad, but don’t know about his 50, have to assume he can sprint with those times though
we need this new guy, we also need to know who he is and if it has any validity… anyone? anyone? bueller?
