MemberSome fairly impressive times to this point. Jole’s 100 breast the other day 58.6, Pelka looks good early. Tim Linn and John Higgins look good also. Anyone else out there?

MemberTim Linn has been very impressive the last two weeks along with Higgins.
Hartman and Ethan Cramer looked very good last Saturday. The New guy Doug Hoffer going 22.65 in 50 free. Really impressed with Verner and Cramer going 2:00 in IM -

MemberThis should be Linn’s breakthrough year. I believe he was 21.5 in season at this point last year, so I was expecting 21.1 or so, but it just did not happen. I think this is the year. They are going to need big time years from Linn, Higgins, and Hartman and I think they will get them.

MemberI wonder if Hartman didn’t train enough in the summer, or is just need speedy at this point? A little surprised at 22.2, 49.3 for him, especially when Higgins is going 48/1:45, and Linn 21.9, 48, 1:47.
Good 54 100 back for Hoffer – 22.6 seemed a little off, but considering the guy hasn’t swam in over a year… well, if anyone remembers, Paul Gyorfi at his first meet in a year (after transfering)… was 51 split in his 100 free, 57 split in his 100 fly, and I think might have barely broken 23 (22.9) in his 50. Anyone know how tall Hoffer is?
Pelka is turning into quite the distance stud, Cramer is doing the same at a slightly lower level, but for a Wheaton swimmer, thats some seriously good distance!! : ) Hopefully he’ll taper up and get into NCAA’s this year… Or at least get the school record in the 1650!

MemberHartman has been real sick the last week or so and didn’t practice much.
The team is not swimming at UChgo this weekend so the team will get some rest after weeks of hard training. -

Memberhartman will be just fine. i have been impressed with timmy linn. i dont know if you guys remember how terrible he was at the 100 and 200 his freshman year, but he was awful. he has turned into a well rounded freestyler and is coming up with big dual meet swims which is a first for him. hartman is just settling in, i absolutely cannot wait to see him and the rest of the boys when they rest up.

MemberHartman had a monster NCAA’s this past year. He will put it up when it is time.
Yeah Linn has put up some good times so far, I will be interested to see what he does at the Invite this December
