i think you had a stroke while predicting the 500, olivet had 3 non seniors beat both conrad and jrich last year…….conrad did swim really well during the 1st half of the season, so i think he’ll be up there:

      Krone
      Busscher
      Conrad

I’m also going to predict the 100 free a bit differently, i think rose is still the class of the field and think that rvz, although he’s having a very nice season, will not beat him:

      rose
      rvz
      fleming/bazzel

The 200 fly should be a heck of a race for 3rd through 6th place. If Conrad swims the mile then he’s going to have trouble with this event, if he doesn’t then he’s 3rd at worst. Groth went a 1:57 at emu, koji went 1:57 last year at miaa. I think conrad will do the mile so:

      Dekker
      Nelis
      Groth

-if i were to make some bold predictions i’d predict a top 3 finish for gunderson in the 50, gluvers in the 400IM and 100 back, and krone to lose the 200.

I would look to see Busscher in the 200 IM. As of right now OC only has Ryan Key in the event. Busscher also went a 2:02 this past weekend. With Wheatly and jaffee in the 500 they can afford to take busscher out and get more points ni the IM.

I think Gunderson from Albion will make some noise in the top 3 of the 50. I think the JBG prediction is a little optimistic. I’d say that it would be 1. RVZ 2. Bazzel 3. Gunderson

i could see that, especially if wheatly and jaffee look like they’re good to go. anybody know busscher’s best time in the 2IM?

Good call on Groth, I forgot that sweet EMU time.

This was my thinking exactly. He should be a strong 4th here, but look for a good race from King.

Considering he tied Ellis for 3rd last year and has the senior thing going, I would disagree and say Gunderson (from Albion) is an optomistic pick my fellow IL friend.
