      Got some updates for readers of d3 swimming. Let’s talk confirmed recruits and transfers.

      I’ll start. Katie White is transferring out of Calvin to U of Toledo. This is a pretty big hit coupled with losing Weima. I feel pretty bad for Calvin. Hehe.

      Nick “the rock” Stone is rumored to be transfering to Hope. That would be a solid addition to an already strong 2010 class. Plus with the weak incomming freshmen it helps Hope and hurts Olivet which could be the difference in winning and losing.

      I assume the weak class you are talking about is Hope’s? From what i have heard, Olivet and K each got solid classes.

      I think this obviously helps Hope, but he swims the exact same things they are already strong in, with the exception of the 500, so he will likely be mostly knocking down his own guys.

      Can a rumor be considered confirmed if a person hypothetically switches his or her facebook profile from Olivet to Hope?

      Derek, that was only true because:

      a. you were there,
      b. it was your idea, and
      c. you were the only one with money left.

      Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone… I’ll just post it on D3, where things are not automatically fact just because someone says so.

      Right, this was a mystery because Stone didn’t go and look at every MIAA school.

      President Palmer came out of his coma and told me that Kalamazoo lost a pretty big piece of their recruiting class, sorry to hear that.

      He’ll be the fast freshman at Hiram. It won’t be that hard to figure out. If there isn’t one Kzoo wouldn’t have lost anyone to Hiram because he wouldn’t have swum at Kzoo either. All you have to do is wait and see. See, isn’t the anticipation great?
