MemberSeems like these guys have 4 choices at NCAAs. 500/1650/400IM/200free. Obviously they will battle it out again in the 500, but what else will they swim? Petersen hasn’t swam the IM before but went 3:58 alreadyt his year which will be up there. Newton is also that fast in it. Both have legitimate shots at the 200 free (after Curtis). Both are ranked high in the mile also. I think they have the best shots at the 500/400IM definitely. The mile there’s apossibility that neither of them finish in the top 2. Seems like Petersen would place top 2 in the 200…what do you guys think?

MemberI’m guessing 500/1650 then probably 400 IM. They don’t want to do the 400 IM and 200 the same day that they’ll be on the 800 FR. That’s a lot of swimming for one day

MemberI was looking at another page…people say Dunn will dominate. Is anyone concerned that he was lapped by peterson and borland at NCACs? I mean 16:30, are you kidding me? Even unshaved, I’m sure the other 2 weren’t shaved either. I’m not counting him out by any means. I just think that domination is the wrong term.

MemberI agree that Dunn is shaky. Dunn brings in a ton of points if at the top of his game, this could spell trouble for Kenyon. Anyway I also think it’s ridiculous that Peterson isn’t mentioned in this. He’s a definite contender. I think it will be between Peterson,Dunn,Borland…if Dunn’s not ready then Peterson vs. Borland. Wouldn’t be the first time KC freshman surprises for a win in the mile. This will be a good race. In other words, Dunn will not dominate no matter what.

Yeah, he only dropped 29 second at Nationals and finished over 9 seconds ahead of everyone else. He’ll probably suck this year

Memberso by your logic he went 15:51 at conference last year, dropped 29 secs for a 15:22…then this year he went 16:30 so he should be 16:01? i agree with the others, hes not the same as when he went 15:29 for his seed earlier. i predict 15:25 wins and about 4 people could do it.

Hey, great call. By the way, Dunn was under 4:00 in the IM.
