  Caleb made the trials cut this morning in the 100 free (51.53 – .06 under the cut). Congrats, Caleb!

  I remember reading some newspaper piece that Kaitlyn Orstein had qualified in something or other at some point (this was a few years ago; I’ll see if I can call up the article). No idea about before that, though.
  
  Definitely congrats to Caleb! That’s fantastic. Here’s hoping he does the same on Saturday in the 50.

  It looks like Kaitlyn actually swam at Trials in 2004 and scored a 33rd in the 100 breast and 41st in the 200 IM (and who knows what else she swam). I wonder if she qualified/is planning to make another run next summer.
