kenyon girls look pretty awesome. their B team put in an A cut (and C team a B cut) in the 800 FR.
men look alright. can’t tell much b/c they weren’t expected to be that strong in the 800 FR. they’ve got a lot of depth in the mile, just no apparent guy to replace dunn right now.
very impressed w/ mitchell’s 200 free. did he do the 800 FR last year? if so what was his time?

MemberThat 800 FR from JHU was very nice. If Test is that fast in a 200, I can’t wait to he what he will be in a 100. Thomas was just a stud and Postetter on the end had a great swim. That will get him to his first NCAA meet at a Jr. Congrats. Also notice that Kleingeutal was 1:42 on the B which was a really good swim for him.
I wish Kenyon could figure out how to put some results up though. This is getting annoying.

That basically does it for him the season. Tough loss for the team, but really tough for the individual. Sorry man!

Memberi didnt see any signs of Dunn, except his ex-pool record in the mile. is this the end for his career? the end of Kenyon’s dominance over the 1650…

MemberPretty sure Dunn has quit the team. He did not swim in the invite this week. Kenyon has moved on with a few talented distance freestylers, I think they will be fine.

MemberYeah I know someone on the thread said that might be it for him but he remains a talented swimmer. If he keeps his head straight I still think you could see something from him late in this season.

JHU84
Memberthey have a real strong sr class that is motivated this year so they should be able to pull him along. I had that my freshman year. Actually quit the team until they “got my head screwed on right” and worked really hard up to the taper – worked out great.

MemberI think you’re right JHU84. They really carried themselves well at the meet. And George did not seem to be overwrought about Keeley getting mono. They will pull together and continue to have a great season

MemberI was really impressed by a lot of swims from the JHU teams this weekend. For Test, Thomas, and Fedderly to be this fast this early is great. I expect them to be faster in Ohio in March.
Kegelman had some very good Breaststroke swims- he should be very solid in March by his track record of swimming better on more rest.
Postetter is also in the meet for JHU as he was on the 800 FR. I could see that relays in the low 6:40 range in Ohio which would approach a school record.
Its a shame Keeley is sick, but he hopefully can make it back for the end of the year. He already has B cuts in both Breaststrokes- so if they can get him in on a relay at Conference he could swim those at NCAAs with more recovery time.
Overall I was pretty impressed by the BlueJays- congrats so far and keep up the good work.
Kenyon just has soooo much depth. I was really impressed with Lazarus coming up with a really good 100 BR after not making the meet last year. They will be fine in the distance events, they have a couple potential winners there without Dunn. Will be interesting to see who will swim their relays for them. Many choices.
A really nice meet overall. Congrats to the teams involved.
