It seems to have come up a few times already so let’s see what the country thinks.

Who wins? If it’s Kenyon, by how much?

Kenyon will go +76 because of a simple reason: breaststrokers. Emory and Denison can’t hold a candle to Zarins, Gosselar, and Stoyel.

While I agree Kenyon is probably the favorite coming in, last time I checked breastroke was only 2 events (plus relays). If they’re going to keep their streak alive, especially by a margin as large as 76 plus, it’s going to take a lot more than just three guys.

I voted Denison for 2 reasons:

      1) I love an underdog
      2) Today I counted about 50 points that they can move up

This is for women’s national right?
We’re not looking past next weekend are we or is every writing off the Emory and Denison ladies?

And also, given his status as “just the definition of a bad morning swimmer” (I forget who on here called him that), I think sometimes even Zarins can’t hold a candle to Zarins. That doesn’t exactly help the team.

Reading the results of this poll right now (as i post it is 11 votes for different spreads with Kenyon winning, 7 for denison and 4 for emory) it would seem there is a 50/50 chance Kenyon loses (or wins, depending on how you look at it) this meet. I would be willing to bet a donation towards d3swimming.com that Kenyon wins straight up, since the poll would indicate that is an even bet.

Also, to neswim, while this is a men’s poll, i have written off the lady eagles and lady reds. Kenyon is absolutely dominating on the women’s side and i really don’t see them being touched. A 100 point spread might not be enough on that side of it.

Not this again. Start you own poll. Those interested will vote.

Next time specify gender….I thought female was the default genetically speaking.

Well I have a feeling it will be very close on the men’s side. I would love to see Denison win, but they may come up just a bit short. As for Kenyon and their breaststrokers, yes they have a few good ones. But Stoyel may not make the top 16 in the 100. He is a much better 200 guy, similar to Gensler.

On the men’s side I honestly wouldnt be surprised if Emory, Denison, and Kenyon were all within 50 points of each other. Also, I’m guessing the poll is skewed since it was never specified as men or women.
