MemberMacalester already has their roster up.
A few potentially interesting names on the women’s side.
And for the men, a Nathan Young from Colorado: 51.80 backstroker. -

MemberWow, Nathan Young has a good shot at being the best swimmer at Macalester, ever. I can’t think of a single swimmer from Mac who has qualified for Nats. At least in the last 15 years.
Anyone see their new pool, yet?

MemberIf you go on the Mac site, you can get the architectural renderings of the building (there is one pic of what the pool will look like. Looks like a combo of GAC and St. Kates).

Some notes of interest on the facility:
-The Leonard Natatorium will be rebuilt with 8-10 lanes and will include the most up-to-date timing equipment, including a naked pull-up bar.-A juice bar and an inviting lounge area will provide a new gathering place for all members of the Macalester community to relax, study, socialize, and protest something.
Keep in mind that for a $200K donation, you can name the locker room. I’d go with “The come in dry, leave wet, room.” Too much? I’m sure Tobias would go for that.

MemberLooks like it should be a nice pool.
Now if only I could find that pile of money I hid around here to make Chapel’s dream come true….
