Mac of the MIAC – Fantasy Invitational
The Mac of the MIAC sub-committee has met, and I’d like to announce the rules for the Mac of the MIAC Fantasy Invitational. The Invitational will be based off of best in season times as of December 25th, the birth date of Jesus. All teams complete their mid-season meet, like Carthage, by this date.

I will be keeping a record book for the Mac of the MIAC Fantasy Invitational. Although we will not score for records this year, teams who break records in subsequent years will score points.

      2 person relay – top 8 score – 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11

      400 Butterfly Relay, 2×200

      Rules
Each of your 8 swimmers can swim up to 7 relay events. Swimmers will initially be placed in the events they have the best times in. I will then email each owner with their lineup. Owners will have the option to move swimmers around to maximize swims, then email the final roster back to me. Or just leave their roster as is.

      Strategy
This goes without saying, but if you want to compete at the invitational, it behooves you to have depth at stroke and distance events. Right now the payout for the invitational is 15%. We will vote at the draft to possibly bump this up to 20%.

As intended, the invitational will add a fun in season payout event, plus get teams to think about depth a little more. If you have any questions, let me know.

You guys sure are organized and committed!

Sounds like a ton of fun. Too bad I couldn’t make it to the draft in Uptown.
