      I lift a decent bit (about 4 times a week) while I’m in-season. I can tell that it slows me down during duel meets but I always have big drops at my championship meets. I was wondering how long other people stopped lifting before their championships. Generally I quit about 4 weeks before with the 5th week doing very light weights. Also, are there other teams out there that don’t have mandatory lifting programs for their entire team?
