MemberSo its never to early to speculate who wins.
Wheaton reloads with guys who can score just as much at least on conference level as Higgins, Hartman, Noll and Lederhouse. No breaststroker though.
Carthage loses 60 points with Jole, but has Schranck. Anyone more than Drake? If it’s like last year theyre sunk. If its like two years ago, its huge.
IWU seems to be building. Maybe even #2 if Carthage has a bad class.
My guess (and qualifiers)
1. Wheaton (4 guys from 200 Free Relay)
2. Carthage (Schank, Pelka, Drake)
3. Illinois Wesleyan
4. Rose Hulman
5. Millikin
6. Augustana
7. North Central -

MemberI think Wheaton wins with Carthage coming in 2nd. Carthage got a 53 1:56 backstroker which will help. If he can improve a bit their medleys might be in business.

MemberI think I might have to change my winner. I think Carthage with their big recruiting class pulls it out this year

MemberWhat have you heard about Carthage’s class? They only had about a dozen guys last year, graduated Jole and two other big ones and two of the returning guys can barely score a point. That leaves about seven swimmers. Even if they bring in a dozen guys, they won’t have a full team of scorers. Plus scoring should be tougher with Rose Hulman bringing 30+ guys to the meet. I don’t think I’d change my vote, but then again, what have you heard?

MemberThe only things I heard was that the class was big and I am assuming some of those guys are good. Of course I could be wrong. What do I know.

Member
I’m the Rosey vote. Anyone that brings 30 guys to the meet can score 30 since its so slow.
umm isnt there a cap on swimmers for points?? 18 ring a bell? haha maybe thats not what you were talking about though.
