MemberIt looks like the 50 free is going to duck under 21.0 for the first time this year:
https://d3swimming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26700#26700
It was inevitable since in 2005 the invite time was 21.01 and in 2006 the time was 21.02, but it is still pretty cool because it is somewhat of a milestone.
Any other invite times of note this year?

1) ( 377) ZELBACHER, ERIK SR R.I.T. :20.21
2) ( 449) SLAVIK, MIKE SR WASHINGTON UNIV. :20.52
3) ( 225) HARING, BEN SR GROVE CITY :20.57
4) ( 224) COURAGE, CALEB SO GROVE CITY :20.62
5) ( 254) BLOHM, KURTIS SR HOPE :20.67
6) ( 386) BURCH, ROY SO SPRINGFIELD :20.71
7) ( 474) ROBERTS, BARRETT JR WHEATON (MA) :20.73
7) ( 450) TRIEBE, ERIC SR WASHINGTON UNIV. :20.73
9) ( 459) TRUNK, RYAN JR WESTMINSTER :20.77
10) ( 247) HOLMBERG, DAN SR HARTWICK :20.86
11) ( 370) HARP, TREVOR JR REDLANDS :20.87
12) ( 234) HAGEMEYER, SCOTT JR GUSTAVUS :20.88
13) ( 506) ANDERSON, ALEX SR UW STEVENS POINT :20.91
14) ( 235) AMUNDSON, BRIAN JR GUSTAVUS :20.93
14) ( 277) TEST, BRAD SO JOHNS HOPKINS :20.93
16) ( 124) MOSINIAK, DOUGLAS JR BALDWIN-WALLACE :20.94
16) ( 403) KOCH, JACOB FR ST. OLAF :20.94
18) ( 208) CZAPLICKI, JOHN SR FRANKLIN & MARSH :21.00
19) ( 155) ERICKSON, JOHN JR CASE WESTERN :21.02I count ELEVEN guys who are no longer in the 50 free. Maybe it is just because I’ve never done this kind of analysis before, but I find that pretty impressive. Over half the guys who qualified are no longer around (either graduated or not yet swam), yet the event is getting even faster.

MemberThe amount of improvement from the guys on that list (from last year) is really amazing. .25 second drops all over the place.

MemberMore realistically, the invite time for the 50 should be under 20.9.
