      I spoke with Sam about a day before the accident about swimming next year. He had wanted to swim the 50 freestyle at leagues instead of diving and I told him to go for it. He was an extremely cool guy and that’s how he’ll be remembered.

      I’ll be praying for him, his girlfriend and their families.

      Wow. In addition to Sam’s family, I’m sure that the Goode family of Kalamazoo would appreciate your thoughts and prayers this week. Kelsey Goode is a diver at K-Central, and his brother Jordan was killed last week in Afghanistan by an IED.
