Flemings split is very impressive, however both CVB and Rose split sub 48.

Didnt KG go a 5:13 in the 500? Why would that be his third event when last year he scored top12 in the 200 IM? It will take sub 5 to make it back in the 500. Even if he tapers well he probably would not make back. So K would be losing those points; which will be needed if they want to win MIAA’s.

I was surprised to see how well fonzy did in his freestyle event(for only really seeing him swim breast) I knew he could swim the 100, but the 1:49 in the 200 is showing that he can go a little farther than the 100. What does the public think, will fonzy’s injury make him do the 200 and the 100 free over the 100 and 200 breast?

Other impressive swims I thought were Hope’s swim in the 200 breast….they just keep improving. And Heyboer’s win in the 200 back over Ellis.

I remember swimming the 500 one year not beraking 5:20 in season and going 4:53. I also remember Mav and Derek not breaking 5:00 in season and going 4:42 and 4:46. So I would say with that time there is a good possiblity that he would be under 5 minutes.

Standout swims to me were,

Rose and Nelis on the MR

Nelis and Espinosa in the 200, I also believe that’s a good time for O’Brien

Aaron Welsch in the 50

King’s 2IM

Nelis and Mueller in the 2fly

Espinosa and Kurti in the 100

Brower in the 200 back going sub-2 again

Hope 3:11 400 FR without Kurti or Nelis
