MemberI can see this thread being moved into the “ongoing time trial debate” thread in the near future 😉
Anyway, hope they do well…

Greiner I’m trying to remember I want to say 52.4 but I’m sure someone else can confirm.

If I am correct this is a one-and done deal, so there won’t be another 200 TT for that relay. Thus I am curious: assuming your 400 relay puts up a lock time for Nats (likely) are you going to go to a 2nd chance meet?

Membercheadle, hope my opinion is as good (in this situation) as facenorths (not to mention he is sitting next to me), I would have to say no, however I learned quickly never to be definite on here, so I will say doubtful.

MemberCheadle,
You are correct in assuming that the TT is one and done. The TT has helped us in the past and this year it may sting us if others take advantage of it in the event we’re not fast enough yet anyway. Historically we have not gone to 2nd chance meets, I would be surprised if this year is any different. We just need to hope (no pun intended) that 1:23.66 is enough. It’ll be close. We still need to take care of business in the 400 Free thoguh.
What a great time of year.

Greiner won in 52.37, Bacon was a 52.42. Bacon was leading 1 yard from the wall and then Greiner’s stroke cycle got his hand to the wall first.
(Mike is sitting next to me and he has a better memory than I do, so those are trustworthy!)

I am not sure if all the talk about “jumping” got to them, but they had 2 guys who did VERY slow starts.
Looking at other results, i think Hope’s 200 FR is 70/30 with the 70 on going. I’d bet their 400 FR will seal it though and get the guys they need, plus Nelis and Heyboer individually. Nelis is close right now, this kid is awesome. Will he be on the 400 FR?

Member50.7 in the fly will probably be pretty close. Heyboer will need to crank that IM up tonight, because I am not sure about his 4:05 from December
