      For those who don’t already know, Gustavus has posted their roster.

      Looks like 13 freshman mostly from Minnesota, with some Wisonsin, Nebraska, and one Alaska in the mix. That brings the GAC squad up near the 40s.

      I’ll research times later in the day or tomorrow. If someone else is bored, feel free to beat me to the punch.

      After looking at the roster more closely, it appears that they may have picked up some Sophomores as well. Johnsrud, Fitts, Anderson, and Howard are listed as Sophormores, but I don’t recognize their names from last season.

      Anybody have a scouting report on these guys? Have they swam before, or are they just trying it out?

      I thought Jonsrud was a freshman as he was on a State Relay with Nordquist last year at Armstrong. It could have been 2 years ago though. He’s been 22 in the 50 free and 49 or 50 in the 100 free.

      GAC has a diver who not only dove in high school, but went to State? I’m sure the football team will sleep easy knowing Coach Carlson, and Assistant to the Head Coach Hagen, won’t have to recruit any of them to do some back-flips off the high-dive.

      It would appear that way. Try not to jinx it, Chapel. Should be a great boost for the Gusties if he can produce. Especially since Olaf lost Christian and Blaise.

      Ryan Ortlip went 2:00.63 in the 200 free and 1:04.58 in the 100 fly at the 2007 Section Meet. He’s been in the 5:30-5:40 range in the 500 as well.
