Its all an ACT
MemberI would find that really hard to believe. I would think they would have to really offer him some sort of sweat package.

MemberWhy would he leave? He has won a national title in Tennis, always wins conference, always makes it to nationals, has a top ten program for men’s swimming, the reigning conference champion, women’s team has been near or at top ten. I mentioned it before. Carleton would have to be offering a huge step up in terms of the deal he would get. My guess, rumor that someone is having fun with.

MemberUnless something substantial is out there in terms of this rumor, we sould find better things to talk about.

MemberThe actual story is that he applied for the job at Carleton, but the selection committee was unable to choose anyone from the pool of applicants to take the position. Thus, Carleton will have an interim coach for the coming school year, before repeating the selection process next summer.
Edit:
From what I’ve heard recently it may have also been a ploy to get more money from GAC with no intentions of actually leaving.

MemberSorry, i was wrong on this, just thought it might be more speculation liek the posts about the St. Johns coach. Didn’t mean to take away news that is news, but rather stop things from being posted that aren’t true or don’t relate to the site. My apologies.
