MemberNot looking at the final score, Hope will at least be the most dominant with the most event wins.

MemberThis has to be a fact and I say that because of depth. I am not saying that this will be a dominant stat in February for Hope, but when you have options for people to win events it creates more opportunities to make this a fact, not to mention they do have a couple gimmies. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Heyboer sweep plus the free relays (the verdict on the 800 is still out but certainly more than a possibility) and the short freestyles as well. Beyond that, there are a couple iffy events where things can go either way. If those events don’t go Hope’s way, they can still wind up with more event wins. If they do go Hope’s way, this is a no brainer. The point here Rece, and I’m sure the old guy next to me will disagree, is that when Hope steps up on the block for an event that is a tossup and they have 3 guys in the finals, I like those odds. Events like the 50 and 100 free where we don’t know who the favorite is, Hope could be sitting with 3 chances to touch that wall first. Everything would have to happen just right for Olivet, Calvin or Kalamazoo to be able to sneak ahead of them.

MemberMy friend, i hate this, i hate this more than fighting on deck, but i have to agree. It won’t be dominant and they won’t be fast NCAA-level times like some of those events that K wins, but they will win the most. Mark me down for 2 Hope free relays and all, count em, all the free individual events. Add a couple Heyboer wins, and you have yourself the most individual wins, but stop right there because the trophy is going back to a little barn in Olivet, Michigan and that gets a ‘Woah’.

MemberAs much as it pains you to agree with me, it excites me to disagree with you. There is just one thing I’ve got to know… If I’m hearing you right, and I’d like to think that I am, you’re saying a Hope sweep of the 50-1650, who is going to beat Paul Krone in the 500, let alone the mile?

MemberAh Kirk, you never let a mistake of mine slide do ya? Must be that Tennessee whiskey from that SEC championship game last week. If I keep this up, I’ll start saying Notre Dame deserves that BCS game… oh there I go again. Anyway fella, Hope will win all freestyles below the 200, but not the 500 or 1650, the Kroninator will take care of those 2.

MemberAll of the funny posts are coming out! This is another one of my favorite series of posts because of how life like it is. To round off funny posts, I would ask “SwimDad” to post one of his classic predictions. Typically when I read those, iw oudl find myself in tears on the groud.
Now, in response to that, I am going to say how many wins each team gets:
Hope-9
Kzoo-6
OC-1
Alb-2
Cal-0
Alma-0I left out diving, mostly because I don’t care. Sorry. I also left out which events I think each team will win so that you, the reader have to go thru and choose which events you think each team will win on their own to come up with your own prediction. This is to combat us getting off topic…like I said, “Krone is going to kill Fonzi in the 2 breast”. I’m not saying it won’t happen, but….

For the first time in a very long time, Hope… except the way you have it listed there, K might win that, but it’d be close. I’d go Heyboer to King, Engers was only 1:56.
