Impressive indeed. Congrats to him on his second channel swim. Also, a huge pat on the back for Carleton coach and Trekkie Andy Clark for going all that way to support an alum.

I would like to congratulate Dave for picking the most ridiculous charity I have never heard of.

Never heard of the YWCA? Huh. That’s strange.

      Dear R-Tard,

Cameron works at the YWCA. His charity is “Swim for Change,” a program that the YWCA Minneapolis describes as an effort to increase awareness of the racial disparities in swimming (especially the higher rates of drowning among communities of color).

So please congratulate Dave Cameron for raising $45 to bring awareness to the fact that white kids with asthma are the only ones who like swimming.

Since Dave Cameron is not saving battered women or eradicating world hunger, his charge to bring something positive to someone is only noteworthy of a sarcastic cheer from Mac of the MIAC?

Despite Mac’s racial handicap, what I think he is trying to say is a sincere thank you to Mr. Cameron for making someone feel special. Even if they are white kids with asthma who don’t read good and are really, really really, ridiculously good looking. Money cannot buy happiness but it can help people swim the English Channel by giving them power bars (36 power bars with $45).

I think what Mac of the MIAC is evincing is something we in the soft-sciences like to call denial. It is when a thought is so hateful that the mind literally rejects it. I think Mac of the MIAC is denying his cuntiness.

Wow has this thred degenerated! Let’s bring it full circle – congatulations to Dave for a great effort and caring enough about anything to get up and do something.

Great point openwater. Way to be positive. Last night, after drinking 2 wonderous punches and 4 budweisers, I gave directions to a portly suburban couple looking for Chino Latino. Should I send the press release to the Gustavus Quarterly, or straight to you?

I would appreciate reading about your good deeds in the Quarterly. I think you would be a great example of Gustavus’s students becoming outstanding members of society.

Are we still talking about MAC?

Absolutely! Didn’t you hear his amazing story about helping fat people find more food? That is obviously the work of a 1st class citizen. Even though he does have a bit of a mouth on him, MAC obviously contributes way more to society then Dave Cameron did when he raised money for charity.
