      After the mid-season meet for GAC, it looks like Dan is not swimming anymore. The meets that he did swim he didn’t have very good times. Did he get burnt out? Swimming can be difficult if you aren’t posting good times or dropping time. Can anyone confirm this?

      Any chance he comes back after break (or after the test)? I’ve swam with people who’ve been burnt out before but come back after a few weeks off the team sowing their wild oats and a couple bad peyote trips.

      He was GAC’s top returning breast stroker, right? I know there are others who can pick up the slack, but I think he scored decent at conference last year (53 fantasy points… which included his presence on relays). So his loss could affect things both from a relay and total points deal if it is close again with Olaf this year.

      I talked to him at the triangular GAC hosted. He said that he was getting pretty stressed out from school. I know that Jon is a coach who puts school before sports. It would be a great loss to the team.

      So what is the “official” word? Is Mikkelson out for the season? I’m hoping to put together a full blown conference lineup for the top 3 – 5 teams and score it out…. Losing Mikkelson would basically F-up the whole thing……..

      Looks like he is back on the team. At least for the SJU Invite.
