I am bored, and I know nobody wants to reveal their recruiting class, so as a penalty everyone will now be reintroduced to my bulge and rec-specs.

No, it’s not a pants tent.

Is it a matter of revealing information or knowing it? The only ones who probably know the stuff are coaches and current swimmers and we’re mostly old guys. I have absolutely no idea who is going to swim at Hope other than the possibility of Mark Waterstone, and I only know that because the Holland Sentinel mentioned it the other week.

Additionally, I doubt you’d get the coaches who occasionally post on here to reveal stuff like that when we’re barely out of the spring semester. That’d be weird.

Speaking of coaches doing weird things, looks like Alma is bringing in something….check it out:

I would think it would be a little early to be posting that stuff but a class of 7 guys for Alma would be pretty decent.

“What’s more, of the 16 freshman, eight of them would have scored points at the MIAA championships last season.”

That could mean that he’s got 7 freshmen dudes who could score at the MIAA meet with their HS times or he’s got 0 dudes.

Anyone want to set an over/under?

I have no problem speaking in general terms. Kalamazoo got a pretty good class and has still has a shot at a stud or two. At this point you usually can rule out anyone who hasn’t deposited but there are specific reasons why these two are still up in the air.

At this point for certain: Kzoo got 5 guys, 4 of whom placed in consols at state meet in their best events and the other has huge potential.

I know for certain that Olivet got Harden (21.6 / 48? ), because he was on Kzoo’s list and elected to go to Olivet.

Um… I thought he was going to Hope because his last name is Waterstone and he wants to get a tan. The Sentinel is only reporting on what we already know.

(not sure, this is my over/under, i don’t have more info than the rest of you)

      6 men, 2 ladies

2 men that are pretty solid and could be top 6, 2 who are alright and would have scored last year, of course and 2 that are bad but still would have scored in the miaa’s weak events

the ladies are probably ok but we won’t see them in top 6

see, i can be general too 🙂
