      In response to wonderboy’s call for an informal poll. What is more important, Big Tens or Olympic Trials?

      Most definitely Amanda Beard. But on a strictly swimming note, the Olympics are of course the big show. It’s the “world’s stage”, as I believe many a journalist has put it.

      Although to clarify, I think wonderboy and caveman are arguing about Big 10s versus Olympic Trials, and not the Olympics.

      i believe if you have a shot to make the olympics trials are huge, because it doesnt get any bigger than the games. but if you dont have a shot to make it (even though making trials would be real cool) i would think big tens are way bigger.
      at least for MN, they get these huge superbowl like rings for being big ten champs.
