MemberIf you consider Boss and Soriano a tie (Coming in Boss was a 56.6 so that is a reasonable assumption), this might be the best class for the MIAA in its history:
Top swimmer from class of ’02
Kzoo:
Duda
Whibeck
Domin
Elston
Andy Brook
StricklerHope:
Boss
Adam HopkinsCalvin
Veltman
Gary GoosenAlbion
Preglow
Roman ReznikovEven Alma got Fournier
That is 13 guys who were real difference makers in the league coming in.

Althought Boss and Duda (1:52 in high school) make that a top heavy class, i might think the next year’s class was better. I don’t know what it had for Hope, but i do think it was very good and I know guys like Steven June, Jud, and Lanser were all very fast coming in, faster than the previous years if we go with depth. Might have to do those relays again with using their best high school times instead of college (where my year won :))

MemberYeah ’03 wasn’t as good coming in because Hope’s guys were only average recruits. AJP was probably the 3rd best coming in that year.

MemberThis incoming class takes the cake, easily. K’s 4th best recruit could make a B cut in the mile. They also have two people capable of winning a National Title as freshman. None of these three are even the most well rounded freshman in the class. While the class of ’02 was certainly very talented, I would put this class up against it any day.
Olivet’s is deep, again.
Hope’s is deep.
Calvin brought in a B cut and some speed to improve their already best relay.
If you look closely at the class, however you will notice is it lacking something. There’s no Sean Hamstra.

MemberThis is true.
Coming in there are 2 guys with A cuts and 2 with B cuts. There are also 2 100 freestylers within .5 of the B and a 100 flyer within .8 of the B. I believe all of these guys should end up with a cut, although i believe the K 100 freestyler will get his in the 200 free. If i knew more about the other olivet swimmers coming in, i may be able to comment further.
