Hey Brian Bazzel (21/47 i believe) is currently up here and he seems SOLD! He is very convinced on the school, the team, and he said that K fits him. However, I told Steve this and he said Bazzel already wanted to come here before the trip, but it will come down to money, of course. Anyone of you alums want to write the boy a letter? I told him about how great and supportive you guys are and I think it would make a big impact on his decision if he got a letter from any of you.
Harden came up yesterday for lunch (and seemed to have a blast) and had to go home to accept the scholarship that he just won at the bball game at his school. He should be coming back up here, but weather (and the dad) may be permitting…we shall see…

He’s interested in biology. Turns on that he was already highly considering K BEFORE we even knew about him…it has made our job a lot easier because he already knows so much at this school. Yet, he could go to EMU for 7,000 a year…
I’m in the process of getting addresses for you guys and once I get them, I’ll be emailing Greg R (among others). I appreciate the help

SO! Bazzel left today and I THINK he’ll be coming next year.
When he left he said “So, I’ll see most of you guys in the spring, but for you guys going abroad, hopefully I’ll see you next year.”
I can definitely see him going home and talk up this school to his parents nonstop. Yes money is an issue, but he got a huge scholarship and I think they’ll be able to afford it….I think if a couple of you send a letter to him, that will help a lot (see my new post with the addresses and info on them)
He’d be a great pick up. He’s tall (6’4 i think) and has a REALLY powerful pull. His stroke is disgusting though….which will be fixed and he’ll be sweet.
