I have insider information that former St. Peter High School Girls coach Garrison White is coaching distance swimmers at GAC. This makes him Assistant to the Assistant to the Head Coach, Andy Hagen.
Is Garrison teaching Ben Hanson his Red Cross front crawl? Does he do Dew Drivers on the Deck with Matt Steewart? Does he walk the line with Skylar Davis? Does coaching swimming cut into his time with his Guild Alliance, or is Billy Cuevas now an honorary Guild Officer?
It is also rumored that Garrison out interviewed former GAC swimmer Matt Christianson for the position. Was a 30 minute Wonderlick involved?

Mac, just got back from the bar (with you), and am too curious about the affect assistant to the assistant coach Garrison White will play.
I think he launches Sky-Dave into uncharted territories. I’m talking sub 5:30 in the 500… maybe even 5:25. We’re talking a legendary swim the likes of which have not been seen since “Swimfan” came out on DVD.
BTW… Garrison White’s addition to the GAC coaching staff is like “Road House 2″… it was just a matter of time.

I’m honestly concerned. If Skylar Davis’ taper was in the capable hands of Assistant to the Head Coach Andy Hagen, I would sleep better at night. Now, I have to worry about some rookie coach used to tapering high school girls down from 6:05 to 5:49 in the 500. Something is fishy in St. Peter and if there is not a sub 5:30 at conference, I smell mutiny.
