  That’s pretty vague. Is there a reason? Inclement weather, transportation, issues, team-wide sickness, etc….?

  Don’t really know why. I’m near Saint Mary’s so I was looking forward to seeing Coach Hamstra in action but he called me and told me that the Saint Mary’s coach called him and said there wasn’t going to be a meet after all – and I think this was with the van full of Alma swimmers about 10 minutes outside of South Bend.

  The meet was not canceled! My daughter swam in that meet and had a personal best in the 200 backstroke!
