I’m kind of surprised that so few people have responded to SweatyH20dad’s comment about April Whitley. She won 2 events, was 2nd in a third and swam on some winning relays. Whitley is a beast and, unlike Stern, hasn’t caused all kinds of controversy by sitting relays (whether it was actually Stern’s decision or not).
Stern won 3 events, 2 in Record time. Toddhunter won 3 events, one in record time. Whitley won 2 individual events, each not in record time. That’s the ball game.
