It hit Emory before UAAs two years ago. From what I remember, the kids that got it were able to get back in the water pretty quickly, but it affected their practices and their swims at conference, which was about 2 weeks later.
The norovirus will F you up. You lose a lot of weight and tons of fluids. An IV can only do so much when you can’t keep anything from flying out of both ends. I really just feel sorry for the kids that got it this year. Really tough break.
