How cute. They applauded him for doing something that my 8 and under swimmers do sometimes? That sucks for him but Good Lord, what a terrible lapse of judgment. It must have been pretty clear too. I don’t see an official making that call, with how tough it is to see the quick touches, the splash, and that big of a stage.
