What do you predict for nationals? Who is going to shine, who is not?

No Zack Turk this season for Kenyon. Was this already widely known? Kenyon will be fine of course, but it definitely opens a spot in the top 8 of the sprint frees at NCAAs.

Kenyon's roster as it is posted to usaswimming.org. New feature this yr. All NCAA teams must run rosters and results through this website. It is official for Nationals and eliminates old POP forms. He isn't on the roster (though he could be added) and didn't swim in the NCAC relays.

Not saying you're wrong, but he could be abroad or something.

I heard he's in Rio for the year studying abroad. I want to say he swam this summer and plans to swim next year.

He was training at Auburn over the summer. Maybe he decided to pursue a life in turf management.
Many people think Spain is here...
On the other hand, there is a school of thought that claim Spain is here...those people too are wrong.
Where is Spain? It could be...here? here? here?

Either turf management or turf-grass science is what I hear.

I think the real plan is that he will be abroad this year, have his senior year at Kenyon, then have one more year of eligibility for D1 swimming.

Anybody know how that would work with the NCAA rules?

Anyway, looking forward to seeing what he does... next year. Looks like the relays will be okay without him this year though... but... any chance for any other teams to compete? And in which relays?

All I know is that works. Sounds like a good plan...

Pretty sure that works, as long as the degree he's working on at the D1 school is different from the one he gets at Kenyon. Alex Sweet did this a couple of years ago and from what I remember had a lot of success.
Speaking of people making the jump, is Caleb Courage still swimming? I haven't heard anything about him since 08 trials.

Yea Sweet swam out his last year of eligibility at U of Louisville during his first year in the Medical School

@ W&L 19.35/44.51/1:39.10
@U Louisville (2008-2009) 19.90(19.10r)/44.86/1:38.7

Alex Sweet was not 19.35, he was 19.85.

He split an 18.87 I believe (sub 19 anyway) for Louisville at there conference meet.
