I don't think I could run this fast.

Wow! What a swim!
Jim Halpert: One day Michael came in, complaining about a speed bump, on the highway... I wonder who he ran over then.

I have no idea what happened to Geissinger in the 200 Fr.

Mark Bernstein's 200:
48.74-48.95= 1:37.69

THAT IS DISGUSTING

Well he gave Leckey a 7th place finish, so that's one positive I guess...

Maybe he's sick?

I don't know how he can't do the double taper. The kid is a sprinter for god's sake. Any Denison people know what's up? His relay split today was pretty rough too.

Well, he did swim a 1:40, so I thought it was worse than that, but he just DIED. He was fast enough in the morning to make the big heat first, so I have to think that the speed is there.

He didn't just die, he gave up. I've never seen a slower glide into the wall...

He looked none too happy on the awards stand. I hope his 100 free goes better... if he is sick, maybe the extra day will help out.

I can understand him being none too happy. If I know Gregg I bet John got dressed down big time, especially if he gave up...

So is this, but for different reasons:
8 Geissinger, John SR Denison 1:38.05 1:40.94
22.57 24.98 26.04 27.35

Either way, I love Bernstein's "my slowest 50 will be the 2nd one" approach to the 200. And I don't mean to be too hard on Geissinger, I wouldn't ever have been anywhere near any of his swims. Ever. I did think he had recovered this morning after a bit of a disappointment last night, but I'm back to wondering. Is there anyone poolside with any inside info?

Without Diggs in the next lane this doesn't happen. The 2 of them just hung on the wall laughing together saying "can you believe what we just did?" Tremendous race.

He is apparently not feeling well. But that 200 finish - sheesh.

1 Horvat, Liz SO Emory University 4:18.32 4:16.17
28.20 31.58 31.94 30.83
37.31 37.18 30.19 28.94

I would just like to point out that Liz's backstroke splits were faster than some of the guys in the top 16. Wow...

Do you think that Gregg spit on him?

I bet a couple of spritles inadervently flew out of Gregg's mouth and onto Jon's face while Jon was getting yelled at...
Whateve, if I was Jon I'd take it too. Gregg is a very large man.
