One other thing: Kzoo and Hope care more about conference than Nats (there were several MIAA sports that were not permitted to partcipate in NCAA championships until the mid 80's).
Gustavus and KZOO are two of the primary teams who should absolutely change their philosophy.
I agree -- there is a hump Kzoo has never been able to get over, having placed 6th at nationals 4 or 5 times now.
Recruits looking at colleges could care less whether you win your league meet or not, as just about all high schoolers assume they are going to nationals.

You need two 'A' cut studs, and you can qualify two relays in December. Those guys should not fully taper again until Nationals -- is it really going to make or break the team if they win their events at league meet by a few tenths instead of seconds?

Fraser new nat record at 4:21 pretty awesome.

My math had Curtis sitting at 1:40.8 at the 200 and he payed the price for it down the stretch.

It sucks to see Beyer get 2nd but that's a hell of a swim.
Jim Halpert: One day Michael came in, complaining about a speed bump, on the highway... I wonder who he ran over then.

At this point I'm mostly enjoying the guy next to the camera microphone discussing how he tried to "get his drink on" but all he could find was an Applebees. High comedy!
Declaring myself the 2010 d3swimming.com fantasy nationals champion until 99red says otherwise

I'm so glad this name has stuck around in the months that I lay dormant.

Chris Knight, that is one of the reasons I left MN. Applebees is the place to be up there to pregame...$1 beers...woo applebees.
Emory looks really solid out of the chute tonight. Going to be a dog fight for 2nd.
Adjusting expectations: so close to 500 posts!

I'd say Emory has already wrapped up 2nd without any problem.

If they don't DQ relays.
I want to be able to look in the mirror and be integrity with myself.

Are there team scores posted anywhere? I'm not seeing them on the meet website...
