Re: Of all time...

I sorely miss the Nelis/Greiner days. Pure bromance. Agree with VP on the Entwistle/Groenwold rivalry. I actually went on kzoo's website to try and find that race from the kzoo/calvin dual (I think it was 07/08 season), but it looks like the archives only go back to 2011. Anyone know where we can fi...

Well that doesn't mean we here at d3swimming.com can't invent a "coach of the year" award beginning this year! It'd at least give Taber something to throw on his resume.

Re: Coach of the year?

I also just realized the "combined team scores" at the bottom is a sum of the men's and women's team points. So Albion may or may not actually be in fourth, which may or may not negate my post above.

That's dumb as hell. I was wondering how my boys were losing to calvin

Coach of the year?

Full disclosure - when I look at meet results I really only look at the Kzoo times, so I don't know much at all about the other 5 teams in the leage. But from what I can tell, Albion is overachieving big time compared to what everyone expected. Albion currently holds fourth place by a decent margin ...

Pretty sure you can't vote for the "too lazy to create an account" unless you have an account. So that's going to skew your poll results.

The main reason is that I have a job, and the more I post the more time I waste.

Re: duel meets mean nothing

Also, I personally think wearing a drag suit and no cap during an NCAA meet is pretty weak. Almost an insurance policy if you end up losing or just don't feel like pushing yourself because you are too broken down. I agree that wearing a drag and no cap is stupid, but is anyone really that big of a ...

Am I just blind, or is there nowhere to see the actual results on the USA swimming website? Why do they always make finding the simplest information so difficult.

I believe Kzoo's assistant in 10 and 11, Tim Kearney, was a Carleton grad. I think he hung up the stop watch and left the coaching game after the kzoo stint.
