D3Swimming.com has named Denison’s Stuart Hohm its athlete of the week in men’s swimming and diving for meets through January 16th.
The sophomore threw down a 9:53.21 in his 1000 freestyle and followed that up with a 4:37.05 in his 500 freestyle. Those times were good enough for 4th and 2nd place finishes respectively as Denison fell to the University of Pittsburgh.
Holm is being honored as Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
On the women’s side, D3swimming.com names Molly McCulloch of SUNY New Paltz as its athlete of the week in women’s swimming and diving.
The sophomore from Rome, NY was selected for her impressive 24.47 lead off time in the women’s 200 free relay as SUNY New Paltz claimed victory over Mount St. Mary. McCulloch also added a pair of 29.6’s in the 50 backstroke and a 26.47 butterfly split in the 200 Medley relay on Friday.
McCulloch is being honored as Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career.
