Nate Berry (Bates) dropped a 50.1 back. Couple that with the Depew coming from California who is 50.2 fly and they will have a good medley with Charest swimming BR.
Berry led off the medley with a 22.6 -- that's fast for a high school kid!

Leighton Mayers 50.1BK which is right at his best
Ethan O'Connor drops again to a 50.45BK in a tie for 17th

I haven't seen anyone post this yet, but Nathan Berry also went 20.3 in the 50 freestyle two weeks ago. Kid has some crazy sprint speed. That's good for the third fastest 50 in the conference, and that 50 back should be 2nd or 3rd ranked coming in next year.

Where did he do that? Hadn't seen it. He dropped from a 21.1 this year, thats a healthy drop.
NEVER MIND, found it
27 year old James Wells went 20.1 to beat him!

Berry drops again- 49.6 in the 100 back; 1.5 seconds under his seed time. His 50 free tomorrow has a lot of potential.

The Maine men are swimming well at Y Nats -- Brandon Johnson and Camden Holmes both making big drops from around 21 flat to 20.6 and 20.7 this year, respectively. Not sure where they are going but they should be helpful wherever it is.

Saw that -- could change the tenor of their dual meet with Bowdoin if she can take the 200bk, 500, and maybe IM.
Bates men got a good freestyler yesterday, with Nate Berry coming and their existing talent they could have a nice 200 free relay. I'm glad to see that the men's relays next year won't just be the top 3 with Bowdoin sprinkled in in a couple of places.

I thought he committed a while ago, he was up there before, wonder if something happened with admissions and he took his commitment down.

Must have missed this, but at his state meet in May, Williams' recruit Cole Mason dropped his best times pretty tremendously, including knocking his 500 down 4 seconds to a 4:36.0. Pretty exciting development. Also dropped his best 200 Free down to a 1:42. Williams 200 Freestyle options are pretty ridiculous, even with the graduation of Maher.

Lovette, Marquardt, and Delcompare with sub-1:40 flat starts. Pearcy with a 1:39.1 relay, and wouldn't be surprised to see him go faster. Trunsky split 1:39 his freshman year. Karofsky, Gaffney both with 1:40.low splits last year. Plus Mason, Tan, Nichol all in contention for other spots. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stanton in the discussion either.
