Here are the results if the meet were scored top 12...
Women
1. JCU 565 (159)
2. BW 463 (140)
3. ONU 421 (128)
4. WC 270 (62)
5. MUC 224 (47)
Men
1. ONU 474.5 (158.5)
2. BW 424 (116)
3. JCU 415 (118)
4. MUC 413.5 (96.5)
5. WC 208 (43)
These aren't exact scores because anytime someone scratched finals, I used the results from prelims to score it. Also, I am positive all four coaches would have set their meets up differently since the strategy would have been totally different. Personally, I think this would have been an even more exciting meet (at least on the guys side) if it were scored top 12. Second, third and fourth place came down to the last relay to decide it. It was only for second and third in the top 6 format.
All in all, great OACs. Now lets see who does the best job recruiting and training in the off season.

Good work dorsch. I still cant believe they scored top six like its a dual meet. I would have loved to see that last relay if they scored twelve. I wasnt there, but I was just wondering if a good number of swimmers scratched from consols? I know that it would hard to come back at night knowing that your swim is irrelevant to your teams score.
An unrelated question: Was Leitenaker's jump in the 8 free that obvious? Looking at the splits, it wasnt even close when he dove in. I ask out of experience getting deeked twice in one day (200 free in the morning and 8 fr relay at night). Coincidence.... well, probably.
Anyway, another year of OAC swimming is over and now I have nothing to pass the time at work. Congrats to all the teams (and of course, props to ONU). Good luck at nats to all that make the cut. Mosiniak is a shoe in, and I am pulling for mr. frankle's 58 low (or 57 high that he gets at last chance). Those times are awesome.

there were alot of scratches from consols. all events except for diving would have had 2 full night heats with cuts probably made if the meet were scored 12. i know jcu would have put 2 more imers in because they were guys who swim it every year but had absolutely no chance of getting top 6, so it was a waste of energy to swim it even once.
