Way Too Early 2019 MIAA Championships Predictions

Postby BillyZane » Tue Jul 17, 2018 10:01 pm

Yeah, it's way too early But ESPN comes out with a Top 25 for NCAA Football the day after the national championship game.

I would like to start this conversation with the only event that matters the Men's 50 Free. We got deep field with some new talent. Who is the MIAA's fastest man. Here's where I am at:

1. Holstege 3.0
2. Ben Holstege
3. Jared Britton
4. Jacob Lensing
5. Nate Kozycki
6. Julian Iturbe
7. Len Ciemniecki
8. Grant Stille

Everyone is 20.99 or faster. You heard it hear first folks!

Pretty sure you’re missing Skyler Fish on that list. Lensing just hit a new max on bench of 425 lbs (no seriously there’s a video of it) so my money’s on him.

Lensing may be able to bench 425 but 1) I want to see that video and 2) since when is bench a good predictor of speed in the water?

Lets see how much he squats and how much he can snatch and then we'll talk about him winning the 50.

Wait...Skyler Fish is back again? How old is this guy? Didn't he start swimming at Calvin in like 2012?

This’ll only be his 5th year after being cleared for a medical hardship appeal for the 2016-2017 season. As to his age, I’m gonna say late 50’s
