First meets of the season

Hey, so I thought I'd get the ball rolling this season. Here are some results of first meets I looked at,
St Thomas relay meet

Cows College Contentment

St Thomas Vs Luther

At a quick glance, a few good times but nothing struck me as amazing.
Wetzel from Carleton had some pretty quick times at Cows for this point in the season ranking at the top of D3 with the meets that have already been swum. This was noted in being named MIAC swimmer of the week.

Both Carleton and Olaf men's teams seemed to be dragging a little in Cows meet (I'm not sure how the women's teams compared to part years results). Maybe (hopefully) that's from hard training to start the season off, but I though the meet seemed a little slower all around than last year.

Speaking toward Carleton men, they are not returning a lot of their key swimmers from last year, but it looks as if their freshman class has potential and hopefully can be developed this year to ease the blow from last year. Especially Reeves, Darwish, and Wetzel to rebuild the sprinting corps over there.

St Thomas had resounding wins over Luther with the women winning 213-84, and the men winning 225.5-68.5.
I didn't think the times were particularly outstanding, but they were without a doubt far deeper teams. And it's very early in the season and the Thommies have seemed to always hit their taper in the end so I still think they will continue to win all their in conference duels this year, including the elusive Olaf from last year.

What are some of your thoughts?
