As of right now here is where they stand:

Leighton Mayers: 21.8/48.2/1:43.16/4:42.2 50.10/1:49.9 Back 50.6 Fly
Danny Calder: 22.09/48.03/1:45.45/4:42.16 50.6/1:51.4 Fly 4:09 4IM
Jackson Scott: 21.14/46.92 52.5Fly
Ethan O'Connor: 20.74/46.64/1:43.73 51.54 1Back 51.05 1 Fly

Each one of these guys could be an impact relay swimmer (especially with Sarier graduating) and they still have another year before they show up on campus (which I know could help or hurt them). Any of the guys above would be recruited by any NESCAC school and all of them going to Bowdoin will be a huge boost for them over the next few years. If Bowdoin continues to pull in big recruits and develop them I think they could start to pushing closer to the top 3.
There's more coming . . . .
(Do note -- Ethan O'Connor's sprint free times are splits, flat time bests are 21.4 / 47.0. Very helpful, but not as fast as it looks)
Marc Bourgeois
56.3BR, 21.7 / 47.2 / 1:42FR, 50.8 fly

The rest of the class was pretty fly / back / free focused (like everyone does all 3), so having some BR will help try and fill the hole from Pastoriza graduating (who has been super good in BR this year).

Bowdoin putting together an amazing class... perhaps their best ever?

Williams recruit Ev Nichol drops his 100/200 freestyle best times down from 47.5/143 to 47.2/1:41.5. Plus lowers his 100 fly down almost a second to 50.6

Couple new Tufts kids as well (ED2 most likely).

Claire Brennan: 52.92/1:51.99
Luke Isayiw: 27.4/58.12/2:09.89 breast
Drew Hollett: 1:43.04/4:37.14/16:32.50 1:00.58/2:19.76 breast 1:56.35/4:09.64 IM

I hope Luke Isayiw can develop into a stud breaststroker because Tufts could really use some help there.

Dylan brown 22.3/47.0 --> 21.2/45.4
Peter LaBarge 21.2/47.1 --> 20.8/46.0

Here are a few I know:

- Shaun Kronenwetter (Colby) -- 21.1 / :47.4 to 20.84 / :46.2
- Jackson Rockett (Colby) -- :54.5 to :54.1 Fly
- Nathan Berry (Bates) -- :21.1 to :20.7 (From Maine states, not in any of the databases)
- Ethan O'Connor (Bowdoin) 51.5BK to 50.66, 47.0 to 46.4 free

P.S. I noticed that collegeswimming.com has stopped updating times AND dropped NESCAC times from last year.

@PolarBear where do you see that Nathan Berry committed to Bates? It's not listed on collegeswimming or online that I can see. Nice pickups for Tufts. Should help fill Roger Gu gap after next year.

Also btw his state meet times are listed on collegeswimming.

On the Maine swimming site
https://www.teamunify.com/TabGeneric.js ... &team=mams

The newspaper article had him at 20.7 and collegeswimming has him at 20.84, so theres some discrepancy. Regardless, he will certainly help the Bates relays.

Williams Recruit Cole Mason with a good weekend:
9:31.71 in the 1000 (10 second drop- A Final at NESCACs)
15:57.49 in the 1650 (9 second drop - A Final at NESCACs)
4:00.20 in the 400 IM (8 second drop - A Final at NESCACs)
58.49 in the 100 Breast (1.36 second drop)
2:07.55 (3.53 second drop)

Chose not to swim the 500 freestyle, where he has a best time of 4:40, I suspect because he will taper that event for his high school state meet in May as he did last year.

Ev Nichol also brings some new times to the table:
47.0 100 Free
24.0/51.3 Backstroke
1:53 200 Fly
Really versatile swimmer. Should be Borderline A/B final in about 6 events next year

Those drops by Mason are incredible, congrats to him. Williams may just need to add another swimmer to their distance crew at NESCACs, though it would ruin that unbelievable 1-2-3 500/1650 with each swimmer winning an event on Saturday also. Ahh the struggles for Williams distance.

Especially exciting given Trunsky entered college at 15:52 or so, and Lovette at around a 16:08. Coach Kuster obviously knows how to train that event at an elite level.

Plus given Trunsky’s graduation in a year, Mason will have a year to train with them before slotting right into that 1000 slot his Sophomore year for the 3 event sweep

Tuft's Evan Szablewski with some nice drops last weekend at NCSAs:
1:44/4:39/9:32/15:57. Puts him more-or-less on par with Cole Mason, save for the 400 IM.
I believe only the 1000, 1650 were best times.

Understatement. Best Distance swimmer ever trained by Kuster = Cole Kuster (who will be a freshman at Harvard this fall). :D

Williams women will be pretty strong in BR next year.

Bowdoin -
Anna Roberts 200 Breast 2:22 to 2:20
Leighton Mayers 200 BK 1:49.94 to 1:49.72
Ethan O'Connor 100 Fly :51.05 to 50.88, 50 bk 24.8 to 23.2 relay leadoff (he's dropped his 100 back from :52.3 to 50.6 in the last year)

Bowdoin's going to need a bigger backstroke lane with Yang, Mebust, Mayers, O'Connor and then IMers Kangas, Chertavian, and Dickson who could all swim 200BK as their third event.

And looks like it will take 1:49 to go top 8 at NESCAC's in the 200BK next year. I remember when Cyrus won NCAA's with a 1:49.9 . . . .
