UCHGO VS Carthage VS Wheaton

This will be a good test to see where these three teams might end up this year. I have seen Univ. of Chicago several times and they are much improved. Carthage has certainly filled some holes in their lineup and Wheaton might be suffering through a rebuilding year. So my predictions are in that order. University of Chicago will win the Tri-meet with Carthage a close second and Wheaton well back.

I agree. A Chicago win over Carthage would be huge and you have to figure home pool advantage. . Anyone know what events they are swimming? Seems Chicago has fewer good guys so if they go long order they have the advantage. They also have a diver which gives them a 18 point lead.

Wheaton wins more events but Carthage beats them.

I do not think Chicago will win this meet. I think Carthage will probably pull this one out. It might be closer then I think. I mentioned earlier that I have not seen a result for Pelka since their invite in December, if he is out then maybe Chicago has a chance, but with him in the meet, Carthage wins.

Pelka is back after being out of the Country for a few weeks and you can count on his greats swims. I think Chicago will beat everyone with the number of guys that are competing in a 10 lane pool and if they include Diving in the scoring. Swimming in their home pool will also be a major factor.

Well the number of guys who are going to be competing will be the same for all 3 teams. Sure maybe Chicago's squad is larger, but they can only have so many people score. Carthage wins a close one.
