Re: 2020 NCAAs

RIP. Sorry to all the swimmers who worked so hard and didn't get to have the taper meet they wanted due to illness, not being rested yet, or otherwise. Sorry to the parents and alums who were excited to watch their kids/former teammates come together and kick ass on the national stage. Respect to th...

Re: Men's NESCACS

So, based on how I understand diving regionals after talking to the experts, it seems that Williams has added one more to their NCAA team with the qualification of Kobe.

Re: Men's NESCACS

How many times has a freshman ( or someone who swam no relays) won swimmer of the year??? Certainly deserved. The Eph freshmen are amazing. Would’ve loved to see Liam get some love for his incredible relay performances as well.

Re: Men's NESCACS

Karofsky in to Nats despite said flu due to a gamble by Kuster, throwing him on to the 400 free relay, which is now comfortably in. Lovette with a monster split (43.6) to seal the deal. Another great meet all. Who’s your rookie of the meet? Grover who placed 1,1,2 with 2 times under the old NESCAC r...

Re: Men's NESCACS

Pretty incredible day for the Ephs. Taking a 180 point lead into day 4. Highlights definitely include the monster 1-2 finish in the 100 breast with both freshmen well under the old NESCAC Record, and what it’ll take to make Nats. Sean Tan wins an event he didn’t even swim last year. Whitcomb having ...

Re: Men's NESCACS

Also more heading to Nats: Leclerc, and maybe on Zhang from the 200 free relay. Brings the number up to 10.

Re: Men's NESCACS

That was CRAZY. Awesome session and the energy was great. That 400 medley relay was amazing. I can’t believe a freshman just split 43 and a Lovette hit a 43. It’s always fun when a 47 100 fly split gets overshadowed. Williams takes a lead into day 3 with Tufts and Williams both using 26 swims/dives ...

Re: Men's NESCACS

Been struggling with the flu, which is unfortunate given how well he was swimming all season. Still have faith in him to put together some good swims!

Re: Men's NESCACS

I was most impressed by Sullivan’s 24.3. That’s just such a monster swim for a freshman and bodes so well for the next few days. I think we may see Tamposi’s 100 go down. I’m still in awe. But as you can tell by the name... a little biased.

Re: Men's NESCACS

Honorable mention for swims to Charlie Adl with a killer 200 leadoff and the kid who ate it leading off the Tufts relay. Tough luck for Adl. 1:38.00 would be invited to NCAAs but it doesn't count because of the DQ... That’s brutal. Hate to hear that always. That was a phenomenal swim. He went out s...

Re: Men's NESCACS

WHAT IT DO BABYYYY. THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN AT THE SAMMY MUIR AND HAVE COME TO PLAY. LETS START THE TALLY: - 22.3 50 back (.6 faster than last year) - 24.3 50 breast! (This is insane & Sullivan is a FRESHMAN. Is this faster than Tamposi ever split???) - 19.9 50 Free (What’s the over/under on a 43 ...

Re: Men's NESCACS

It is just two, but coaches with >24 person teams will routinely over-enter swimmers in the event of a roster swimmer getting sick or injured.

-Tufts 'A" lead off swimmer was 12th best Tufts 200 free swimmer this season and paced herself as if she never raced this distance before. Tufts trying to create a bigger NCAA squad? How many Jumbettes went to Nationals last year? She led off last year in 152.8 and Hoyt just got SwimmingWorld to wr...
