Re: Let's get this party (re)started
Kilcoyne 55.5 100 fly. Takes down Toddhunter’s pool record. Williams has a good shot of winning the 100 fly at Nats for 3rd year In a row (across 3 different swimmers) Kilcoyne makes the statement swim of the day IMHO. Sneaky 1st heat swim of the day: Liam Sullivan's 200IM Fun and New: The re-emerg...

MIT will be looking for a new head coach...
Dani Korman seems like she did a good job upgrading talent. She will be a head coach at a bigger program in the next few years, I suspect.

Re: 2019 NCAAs
I like this report structure... will keep! Only right of you to comment on Amherst Diving. Diving receives little mention on this board. The Amherst kids were awesome and contributed significantly to Amherst's team success at NCAAs. Given Coach Nichols' success, I wonder if the D1 programs come afte...

Re: 2019 NCAAs
Poll A: Probably Gu for most coaches. There is a reason collegeswimming overweights the 50 and 100 free events in their scoring system. Every relay has a place for a 50 or 100 sprinter so you get a "two-for" if you can find yourself a true #1 sprint type which makes them very valuable for team point...

Re: 2019 NCAAs
Polar Bear is correct its 19/20 for women. They also get 29 versus 24 divers. The rationale is based on larger women numbers. I wonder though if the men's participation numbers have grown. I do think its absurd to not select 16 entries when you have a meet that scores down to the 16th place. Call m...

Re: 2019 NCAAs
If the individual line is 16 and the relay line is 15/16 and the swimmers is ranked 17 in their individual event and the relay is also ranked 17th then the swimmer is not invited (obviously we are talking about men....the women's line is around 19/20 depending on their much bigger cap). P&W, Sorry ...

Re: 2019 NCAAs
So ... If a swimmer has a b-cut and is #17 in line for an individual event, AND, the same swimmer’s relay doesn’t make top16 (or 15 depending on numbers).... then he/she does not get invited? I think the answer is NO, but I’ll ask anyway....If four swimmers make individual events, can the coach ass...
