The US Olympic Trials are upon us and we are pleased to see a number of DIII athletes competing in this year’s event hosted in Omaha, Nebraska. Follow us here at D3swimming.com as we highlight the performances of the swimmers who will be representing DIII swimming at this years Trials!
Andrew Wilson became the highest placing, currently eligible D3 swimmer at the Trials holding steady at 5th with a time of 59.97.
Kenyon’s Julia Wilson placed 85th in the 100 breaststroke posting a time of 1:12.04.
Benjamin Lin of Williams finished 98th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.15.
The number of D3 representatives in the Trials finals increased to 2 as class of 2013 Kenyon graduate Hannah Saiz qualified for tomorrow’s finals in the 200 fly. Saiz qualified for the Thursday night finals with a time of 2:10.44.
Qualifying for his second finals of this year’s Trials, Andrew Wilson heads into tomorrows finals of the 200 breaststroke seeded 6th. He qualified with a time of 2:10.70.
